Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Na Tart
What is Portuguese egg tart?
Egg tarts originally come from Portugal in the form of the famous Pastel de Nata, created in Lisbon. Today, this Portuguese-style tart inspired popular variations across Asia, including the well-known Macau “Portuguese egg tart”.
Egg tarts are a classic bakery dessert made with a buttery pastry shell and a smooth baked custard filling. They’re lightly sweet, creamy, and best enjoyed fresh and warm.
Are your egg tarts baked fresh daily?
Yes. We bake egg tarts fresh throughout the day to keep them crisp, creamy, and flavorful. Availability can vary and popular flavors may sell out.
Are walk-ins welcome? Do I need a reservation?
Walk-ins are always welcome, no reservation needed. For large group orders or big boxes, at least 2 hours ahead is required.
How should I store egg tarts?
Egg tarts taste best fresh the same day. If you’re saving some for later, Original Portuguese, Espresso, Salty Boy, Chocolate Bobo, Original Sunflower, and Cheese & Corn Sunflower Egg Tart, can be stored in the refrigerator up to 2 days or freezer for up to 1 week (reheat before eating for the best crust).
For other flavors that contain heavy cream, we recommend enjoying them within 2 hours, since they can spoil faster.
Can I order Na Tart online for pickup or delivery?
Yes! You can order ahead online directly on our website for fast, convenient pickup. Best of all, there’s no commission fee when you order on our website, and we’ll have your egg tarts ready.
Do you have parking available?
You can park at "Na Tart Parking Only" spots in front when available. Other spots are available unless a sign shows the space is reserved for another business.
Why are Na Tart egg tarts more expensive than other bakeries?
At Na Tart, we use French Premium butter (not margarine or shortening), high-quality dairy and eggs for freshness. We specifically use AOP Isigny Ste-Mère French butter, prized for its rich aroma and clean, creamy finish. This is one of the main reasons our crust tastes so buttery and stays crisp.
Do you have seating at Na Tart?
Yes. Na Tart has outdoor patio seating located to the right of the store, so you can enjoy your egg tarts and drinks outside.
What’s the best way to reheat egg tarts?
For the best texture, reheat using one of these methods:
Oven / Toaster Oven: 415°F for 3 minutes
Air Fryer: 300°F for 3 minutes
Remember avoid microwaving because it can soften the crust.
Do you offer catering for events or offices?
Na Tart supports catering and group orders for birthdays, office meetings, parties, and events. The easiest way to start is to order ahead online on our website. 2 hours ahead is required. If you have any questions, feel free to call us.

Do you have dairy-free options?
